I am writing this letter to moms to say thank you.
Thank you for how you love and how you care. Thank you for how you show up for others and how you tend to the ones you love.
The world is hurting right now – in every corner of every community. And in those hurts, so many of us just want our needs to be held. To be seen. To be known. And our Moms* – well, they know what it means to tend to those hurts in a loving way.
They wrap their arms around you (literally or figuratively) and don’t let go until the hurt feels held. Until the pain has settled. Until we can breathe again. Until we remember to hope. A letter to moms.
And… thank you to YOU – for loving and caring in a way that shapes the world we see possible. May you know how appreciated you are – today and everyday.
